What it does

introworth_get_inbox_summary is a read tool on the OneLifeVibe account connector for Introworth (introworth.com). Introworth is a site where strangers pay a price you choose to message you, and you keep 85% of every reply. The tool reports two things about the signed-in person's inbox: how many messages are unread, and which paid messages are waiting for a reply.

For each waiting thread it returns the sender's name, the offer, the currency and the date received. It does not return message text, so treat it as a triage view rather than a reader.

It belongs to the Read class, which means it changes nothing. Introworth is for adults 18+, so the account behind the sign-in belongs to an adult member.

When an assistant should call it

Call it when someone asks what is waiting for them on Introworth, whether anything needs a reply, or how many unread messages they have. It also works as a first step in a longer session: check the summary, then work through the threads the person actually cares about.

The tool is safe to call repeatedly. It is idempotent and has no side effects, so an assistant can refresh it at the start of a conversation or after the person says they have dealt with something.

Skip it when the person wants to read or answer a message. The summary tells you which threads exist and what was offered; it does not carry their contents.

Inputs and an example call

There are no inputs. Send an empty arguments object to https://onelifevibe.com/mcp as a JSON-RPC tools/call:

{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"introworth_get_inbox_summary","arguments":{}}}

The connector needs the person's OneLifeVibe sign-in (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE) and the scope olv.read, and the person must have signed in to introworth.com with OneLifeVibe at least once. Its sign-in is set up for Meta Muse today (client onelifevibe-muse); other MCP clients reach the no-account tools through the free connector.

The tool is listed in GET /api/platform/v1/tools, but a platform key gets 501 world_tools_unavailable when it calls this tool, because the tool acts on one member's own data. A platform key can call the world catalogue, the tool registry, the network directory tool and the event log.

What comes back

Two fields. unread is the number of unread messages. awaiting_reply is a list of paid messages waiting for a reply, and each entry carries thread_id, from_name, offered_cents, currency and received_at.

offered_cents is the price the sender paid to message you, in the smallest currency unit, paired with currency. thread_id is the handle for that conversation, and received_at is the date the message arrived. No message text comes back.

Other tools on Introworth include introworth_get_earnings_summary, introworth_list_my_intents, introworth_close_intent and introworth_attention_price, listed alongside this one in the registry.

Errors, limits and safety

not_linked means the connector cannot see an Introworth account for that person. Ask them to sign in at introworth.com with OneLifeVibe once, then call again. A missing or incorrect scope is a sign-in problem too; the tool needs olv.read.

501 world_tools_unavailable is the answer a platform key gets for this tool. Use the account connector with the person's own sign-in instead; platform keys get the world catalogue, the tool registry, the network directory tool and the event log.

The tool only reads. You cannot change a thread, set a price or reply through it, and retrying will never modify the inbox, which also makes a retry after a transport error harmless. The content behind it belongs to an adults-only site, so keep the 18+ setting in mind when deciding where assistant output appears.

Questions

Why does introworth_get_inbox_summary return not_linked?

The connector cannot find an Introworth account for the person whose OneLifeVibe sign-in it is using. That person needs to sign in to introworth.com with OneLifeVibe once, then the tool can read the inbox summary.

Can I call introworth_get_inbox_summary with a platform API key?

No. The tool appears in GET /api/platform/v1/tools, but a platform key gets 501 world_tools_unavailable for it today because it acts on one member's own data. Call it through the account connector at https://onelifevibe.com/mcp with the person's sign-in and the scope olv.read.

Does the inbox summary include the message text?

No. You get the unread count plus one entry per waiting thread with thread_id, from_name, offered_cents, currency and received_at. The text of the message is not part of the response.
