What it does
introworth_attention_price is a read tool on the Introworth website. It answers one question: what should a cold message to a person in a given job cost? The figure comes from US Bureau of Labor Statistics pay data for that occupation, turned into a fair price per message alongside the person's hourly pay and what their reading and replying time costs.
Nothing changes when you call it. It needs no account, no sign-in and no token. Name a job title or a SOC occupation code, add any refinements you want, and you get back the price, the pay figures, the reply-time cost, the source data with its year, and a link to the calculator on introworth.com.
Introworth itself is for adults 18 and over: strangers pay a price you choose to message you, and you keep 85 percent of every reply. This tool prices the sending side of that.
When an assistant should call it
Call it when someone asks what it costs to message a professional, whether a message to a particular role is worth the price of a reply, or how the price moves with seniority or location. It fits comparisons too: senior against mid, one metro against another, or a five-minute reply against a longer one.
It is a pricing tool, not an account tool. It returns no inbox, earnings or intent data, even when served on the account connector, because it is called there with no token or identity. Other tools on the same website cover that ground: introworth_get_inbox_summary, introworth_get_earnings_summary, introworth_list_my_intents and introworth_close_intent.
Inputs and an example call
There are two ways to name the occupation. query takes a job title as a string of up to 80 characters, for example software developer. occ takes a SOC code matching ^\d{2}-\d{4}$, for example 15-1252. Supply one of the two.
Three refinements are optional. metro is a five-digit US metro area CBSA code matching ^\d{5}$, for example 41860. level is one of early, mid, senior or top. minutes is an integer from 5 to 60 and sets how long you assume the person spends reading and replying; it defaults to 5.
Point the client at https://onelifevibe.com/mcp/free and call method tools/call with params.name set to introworth_attention_price, and arguments carrying query set to software developer and level set to senior. The account connector at https://onelifevibe.com/mcp serves the same tool.
What comes back
summary gives a short description of the result. occupation carries the code and title that were matched, so you can confirm the title you asked for resolved to the occupation you expected. level, minutes and metro echo the refinements you sent.
Three numbers do the work. hourly_pay_usd is the occupation's pay per hour. reply_time_cost_usd is what the chosen minutes cost at that rate. fair_price_per_message_usd is the price per cold message.
source carries the name, url and year of the pay data, which is the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. url links to the calculator on introworth.com where the same numbers are shown. The call is idempotent, so identical inputs give an identical result and retrying after a dropped connection is safe.
Errors, limits and safety
The tool is read-only and changes nothing, which is why it can sit on the free connector without a sign-in. That connector is rate-limited, so a client calling it in a tight loop should back off and try later rather than resend straight away.
The input shapes are strict. A query longer than 80 characters, a minutes value below 5 or above 60, a level outside early, mid, senior or top, or an occ or metro that does not match its pattern will not go through. Fix the argument and send it again; nothing about the record changes between attempts.
Introworth is an adults-only website, 18 and over, and any copy written around the result should say so plainly. For account-level figures on the same website, reach for introworth_get_inbox_summary and introworth_get_earnings_summary, with introworth_list_my_intents and introworth_close_intent handling intents.
Questions
Do I need an Introworth account to call introworth_attention_price?
No. It runs on the free connector at https://onelifevibe.com/mcp/free with no sign-in, and the account connector at https://onelifevibe.com/mcp serves it with no token or identity, so it never returns account data.
Where does the fair price per message come from?
From US Bureau of Labor Statistics pay data for the occupation. The response includes source with its name, url and year, plus hourly_pay_usd and fair_price_per_message_usd, so you can see how the figure was built.
Can I pass a SOC code instead of a job title?
Yes. Set occ to a code matching ^\d{2}-\d{4}$, such as 15-1252, instead of query. You can also add metro as a five-digit CBSA code such as 41860 and a level of early, mid, senior or top.
