Developers: the OneLifeVibe connector

The OneLifeVibe connector lets an assistant such as Meta Muse work with a person's own accounts on all nine OneLifeVibe websites through one sign-in. It is a remote MCP server.

Endpoint

MCP endpoint: https://onelifevibe.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP; JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST, JSON responses, no server-sent stream). Protocol versions 2025-03-26 through 2026-07-28.
Methods: initialize, ping, tools/list, tools/call; resources/list and prompts/list answer with empty lists. Notifications are accepted with 202. There are no sessions (Mcp-Session-Id) and no batches.
Protected resource metadata (RFC 9728): https://onelifevibe.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp. For 2025-03-26 clients, authorization-server metadata is also served at https://onelifevibe.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server.

Authentication

OAuth 2.1 authorization code with PKCE (S256). Authorization server (issuer): https://accounts.onelifevibe.com/realms/olv; metadata at https://accounts.onelifevibe.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server/realms/olv and /realms/olv/.well-known/openid-configuration. The authorization response includes iss (RFC 9207).

Scopes: olv.read (read only), olv.write (make the changes listed below), plus openid profile email and offline_access. Request only olv.read for a read-only connection.
Tokens: access tokens last 5 minutes. With offline_access, refresh tokens are issued and rotated (single use), stay valid for 30 days of inactivity and 90 days at most, and survive the person signing out of the websites; without it, a refresh token ends with the person's OneLifeVibe session. The resource parameter (RFC 8707) may be sent; tokens are always addressed to https://onelifevibe.com/mcp.
Meta Muse: client id onelifevibe-muse (public client, PKCE, no secret) with callbacks https://agent.meta.ai/api/hatch/oauth/callback and https://muse.ai/connect/oauth-callback. Dynamic client registration (RFC 7591) is also open for those callback hosts at https://accounts.onelifevibe.com/realms/olv/clients-registrations/openid-connect. The person sees a consent screen listing what the assistant may do.
Every request needs Authorization: Bearer <access token>. Without it the server answers 401 with a WWW-Authenticate header pointing at the resource metadata.
The gateway never forwards an assistant's token to a website. For each call it exchanges it (RFC 8693) for a 5-minute token addressed to that one website (aud = the website, azp = olv-gateway) with only the scope the tool needs. Websites never see the assistant's token, and the gateway does not accept those website tokens back.
Disconnect: the person removes the assistant under Applications in their account, or the assistant revokes its refresh token at the revoke endpoint.

Tools

Read tools change nothing. Write tools change only the person's own data on that website and are safe to repeat unless marked otherwise. The only sensitive write is taskfamily_add_event, which notifies the person's family. No tool spends money, makes a purchase, or sends a message to another person.

Results, status and errors

Success: a text content block with the JSON result and the same object as structuredContent.
Tool errors come back as a result with isError: true and structuredContent.error. From the gateway: not_linked (the person has not signed in to that website with OneLifeVibe yet; sign in once at the website), insufficient_scope (reconnect and allow actions), rate_limited, timeout, exchange_failed. Passed through from a website: not_found, invalid_input, unauthorized, forbidden, or http_<status>. They are safe to retry after checking the current state with the matching read tool.
Protocol errors: -32602 invalid arguments (checked against each tool's schema before any website is called) or unknown tool, -32601 unknown method, -32600 invalid request, -32700 parse error.
HTTP: 401 invalid_token (expired or rejected token: refresh it), 405 for GET (no server-sent stream), 413 over 64 KB, 415 without JSON, 400 for batches, 503 if the gateway is temporarily unavailable.

Limits

About 120 tool calls per minute per person at the gateway; each website also limits its own calls (about 60 per minute per person). Lists return 10 items by default and 50 at most.
Request bodies up to 64 KB. Website calls time out after 12 seconds.

Data handling

The gateway stores nothing about tool calls except operational logs (tool name, website, status, duration), never tokens, arguments or results. Websites return only the fields listed for each tool. See the privacy policy.

A dedicated review account with sample data on each website is available to platform reviewers on request at support@onelifevibe.com. No tool moves money, so testing never charges anyone.
