What it does

astrodios_love_match answers one narrow question: how well do two sun signs get along. You give it two signs and it returns an overall score, the scores behind that number, the aspect between the signs, a one-line headline and the URL of the full page on AstroDIOS.

It belongs to the Read class of OneLifeVibe tools, which means it changes nothing. No profile is created, no stored record is touched, and the same pair of signs returns the same result every time you ask. The only inputs are the two signs: no birth date, no birth time, no location and no account.

AstroDIOS itself puts Western, Vedic and Chinese astrology, numerology, tarot and the I Ching into one daily answer. This tool is the compatibility slice of that site, exposed so an assistant can call it directly instead of sending someone to a browser.

When an assistant should call it

Call it when someone asks whether two signs are a good match or wants a compatibility score for a pairing. A question like 'how compatible are Leo and Libra' or 'what is a Taurus and Scorpio pairing like' is a direct fit. Pass the signs in the order the person mentioned them.

Keep it to sun-sign compatibility. It does not read a birth chart, so questions about a rising sign, a moon sign or an exact time of birth are outside what this tool does.

Because it is read-only and idempotent there is nothing to confirm before calling. You can ask again for the same pair on a follow-up, and you can call it several times in a row when someone wants to compare a few matchups.

Inputs and an example call

There are two required arguments, sign_a and sign_b, both lowercase sign names drawn from the same twelve: aries, taurus, gemini, cancer, leo, virgo, libra, scorpio, sagittarius, capricorn, aquarius, pisces. The result echoes whichever sign you put in each slot, so keep the asker's order.

On the free connector at https://onelifevibe.com/mcp/free, a standard tools/call request looks like this: {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"astrodios_love_match","arguments":{"sign_a":"leo","sign_b":"libra"}}}

The same tool is served on the account connector at https://onelifevibe.com/mcp, but it is called there with no token or identity, so it never returns account data. Both connectors only offer it once astrodios.com lists it as an anonymous tool; until then the connectors do not carry it, so check the tool list on your connector before you wire anything up.

What comes back

The response echoes sign_a and sign_b, then gives overall, the headline compatibility score. scores is an object holding the individual scores that feed that overall number, useful when someone asks why a pairing scored the way it did. aspect describes the aspect between the two signs, and headline is the one-line summary. url points to the full page on AstroDIOS.

Lead with overall and headline, since that is what most people asked for. Keep scores and aspect for the follow-up question about the reasoning, and include url so the reader can open the complete reading.

Errors, limits and safety

Both arguments are required, and each must be one of the twelve names exactly. A missing argument fails, and so does a value that does not match the list, such as a capitalized 'Aries', a trailing space in 'scorpio ' or a sign name that is not in the twelve. Lowercase and trim the values in your own code before you send them.

The free connector is rate-limited. If calls begin to fail during a run of comparisons, back off and retry rather than looping on the request. The tool itself is safe to retry: it is not destructive and it is idempotent, so a repeated call for the same pair costs you nothing but a request.

On the account connector nothing is passed in for identity, so there is no account context to authorize and none to expose. Relay the result as an astrology reading from AstroDIOS and link the returned url so people can read the page for themselves.

Questions

Do I need an account to call astrodios_love_match?

No. The tool needs no account and runs on the free connector at https://onelifevibe.com/mcp/free, which is read-only and requires no sign-in. The account connector serves it too, but calls it with no token or identity.

Can it read a full birth chart or a rising sign?

No. The only inputs are sign_a and sign_b, two sun signs, and the result is a compatibility reading for that pair. Chart work with birth times and places is not part of this tool.

Why does my connector not list astrodios_love_match?

The tool switches itself on when astrodios.com lists it as an anonymous tool. Until then the connectors do not offer it, so check the tool list on your connector again later.
