What it does

astrodios_scan_days is a read tool on AstroDIOS (astrodios.com), a website that puts Western, Vedic and Chinese astrology, numerology, tarot and the I Ching into one daily answer. The tool returns the outlook for each of the next few days, one entry per day, so an assistant can talk about a stretch of days instead of a single one.

Each entry carries a date, a headline and a score. The tool changes nothing on the account: it is a read, it is idempotent, and repeating the same call returns the same result.

It works from the person's birth details saved on astrodios.com, and it needs AstroDIOS Pro at $9.99/month or $69/year (astrodios.com/pricing).

When an assistant should call it

Use it when someone asks what the next few days look like, wants to compare days before picking one, or asks for a short forecast rather than today alone. It is the multi-day companion to astrodios_get_today, which covers today only.

Call it after the person is linked, not as a first probe. If the OneLifeVibe sign-in or the one-time sign-in to astrodios.com has not happened yet, the call comes back as not_linked instead of data, and the assistant should say so plainly rather than guess a reading.

Other tools on the same website are astrodios_get_today, astrodios_get_plan, astrodios_set_morning_email, astrodios_love_match and astrodios_sign_horoscope, so pick the one that matches the question before reaching for the multi-day scan.

Inputs and an example call

There is one input: days, an integer from 1 to 30. It is optional. Leave it out and you get 7 days; set it to any value in the range to change the window.

The endpoint is https://onelifevibe.com/mcp. Send a tools/call with the name astrodios_scan_days and an arguments object: {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"astrodios_scan_days","arguments":{}}}. The empty arguments object asks for the default 7 days; put days inside arguments to request a different number within 1 to 30.

The connection uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and the scope olv.read, so the person signs in with OneLifeVibe once and the assistant works from that grant. The account connector's sign-in is set up for Meta Muse today (client onelifevibe-muse); other MCP clients reach the no-account tools through the free connector.

What comes back

A days array with one entry per day in the window. Each entry has three fields: date, headline and score.

That is the whole payload. There is no per-day narrative to parse and no second structure to walk; an assistant can read the array in order, quote the headline for a date, and use the score to rank days when someone asks which one looks better.

Errors, limits and safety

not_linked means the person has not signed in to astrodios.com with OneLifeVibe yet. Nothing is wrong with the request: have them complete that one-time sign-in and run the call again.

Access also depends on the AstroDIOS Pro plan at $9.99/month or $69/year (astrodios.com/pricing), and the days value has to sit between 1 and 30. Both are worth checking before you debug anything else.

Platform API keys get 501 world_tools_unavailable for this tool today, even though it is listed in GET /api/platform/v1/tools, because it acts on one member's own data. A platform key can call the world catalogue, the tool registry, the network directory tool and the event log instead. The tool itself is read-only and destructive is false, so it cannot alter a reading or an account setting.

Questions

How many days does astrodios_scan_days return?

It returns 7 days when you leave the days input out. Pass days as an integer from 1 to 30 to set the window yourself.

Why does astrodios_scan_days answer not_linked?

The person has not signed in to astrodios.com with OneLifeVibe yet, so the tool has no linked account to read. Have them sign in once, then repeat the same call.

Can a platform API key call astrodios_scan_days?

It appears in GET /api/platform/v1/tools, but a platform key gets 501 world_tools_unavailable for it today because the tool acts on one member's own data. Platform keys can call the world catalogue, the tool registry, the network directory tool and the event log.
