What it does

astrodios_sign_horoscope returns today's AstroDIOS horoscope for one sun sign. AstroDIOS covers Western, Vedic and Chinese astrology, numerology, tarot and the I Ching in one daily answer, and this tool gives the day's scores, the reading and its page for the sign you name. It is a Read tool: it changes nothing.

The horoscope is computed from the real sky. You send one sign, and the tool returns the sign, date, headline, text, scores and url. No account is needed.

When an assistant should call it

Call it when someone asks for today's horoscope for a named sun sign, such as Virgo or Aries. It fits a single-sign daily reading, a quick score check, or a request for the AstroDIOS page for that sign. Because it takes one sign per call, call it once for each sign when someone asks for several.

Do not use it to change a setting or expect it to return account data. Other AstroDIOS tools on this website include astrodios_get_today, astrodios_scan_days, astrodios_get_plan, astrodios_set_morning_email and astrodios_love_match.

Inputs and an example call

The only input is sign, and it is required. Use one of these exact values: aries, taurus, gemini, cancer, leo, virgo, libra, scorpio, sagittarius, capricorn, aquarius or pisces. There is no date input; the tool returns today's date.

What comes back

A successful result contains sign, date, headline, text, scores and url. headline and text carry the reading. scores is an object holding the day's scores. url is the AstroDIOS page for the horoscope you requested.

The tool is idempotent: repeating the same call for the same sign does not create or change anything. It returns no account data on the account connector because no token or identity is used.

Errors, limits and safety

astrodios_sign_horoscope is not destructive and needs no plan. The free connector is rate-limited, so pace repeated calls and retry after a rate-limit response rather than sending a burst. The tool switches itself on when astrodios.com lists it as an anonymous tool; until then the connectors do not offer it. If your client cannot find it, check that listing.

Send exactly one of the twelve sign values. A missing sign or a value outside that list does not satisfy the required input. Because the tool is read-only, a retry cannot duplicate a change; it only repeats the reading.
