What it is for
TaskFamily is for the everyday work of running a home with children: chores, rewards that kids choose, a private family chat and helpers. A parent sets up the family, and children use profiles that the parent manages. Children never get a OneLifeVibe account.
Use it when bedtime is a battle, or when chores, allowance and family time need a shared place. The app keeps the routine, the reward and the conversation in one spot instead of spread across notes and messages. The free planning tools on the site can help you work out bedtime, allowance, savings goals and parenting time before you create an account.
Starting is straightforward. Go to https://taskfamily.com/, sign in with OneLifeVibe, and set up the family. From there you can add chores, let kids choose rewards, open the private family chat and use the helpers. If you also want event tools in an assistant, turn on the TaskFamily calendar first.
Free tools you can use without an account
Four tools on TaskFamily work without an account. The bedtime calculator by age takes a child's age and wake-up time and returns a bedtime, a routine start time and the sleep window for that age. It is at https://taskfamily.com/tools/bedtime.
The allowance calculator suggests a fair weekly allowance for each child by age and splits it into spend, save and give jars. Use it at https://taskfamily.com/tools/allowance. The kids savings goal planner works out how long until a bike or game: enter the price, the weekly savings and optional parent-paid interest, and it gives a date. That one is at https://taskfamily.com/tools/savings-goal.
The parenting time calculator lets you pick 2-2-3, 5-2-2-5, every other weekend or your own pattern and see overnights a year and each home's share. It is at https://taskfamily.com/tools/parenting-time. These tools give you numbers to discuss before you decide on a plan.
Plans and prices
TaskFamily has two paid options. Gift: a year of TaskFamily costs $49 one-time and is delivered by email. It covers chores, rewards and the family chat for a whole year. Choose it when you want to give a family a year of the app rather than pay monthly.
Premium costs $5.99/month or $49/year. The yearly price is 31% less than twelve months at the monthly rate. Premium gives the whole family app for one home. Each website on the OneLifeVibe network runs its own product, terms and checkout, so your TaskFamily plan is handled by TaskFamily.
One account with OneLifeVibe
Sign in with OneLifeVibe is the account you use across the network. One OneLifeVibe account at accounts.onelifevibe.com signs you in to TaskFamily and the other websites of the network. When you sign in, TaskFamily receives your OneLifeVibe account id, name, verified email and a session id. It does not receive information about your activity on other websites.
That matters for a family app. You keep one sign-in, but TaskFamily still runs its own product, terms and checkout. Children never get a OneLifeVibe account; their profiles on TaskFamily are managed by a parent. A parent signs in, then manages the child profiles from the family setup.
To start, open https://taskfamily.com/ and choose Sign in with OneLifeVibe. Set up the home, add each child as a profile under the parent, then try a free tool first if you are still deciding. The bedtime, allowance, savings goal and parenting time calculators do not need an account.
Using it from an AI assistant
Once you sign in, the OneLifeVibe assistant connector can use four TaskFamily tools. taskfamily_list_tasks (Read) lists chores and tasks. taskfamily_list_pending_approvals (Read) shows what is waiting for approval. taskfamily_list_upcoming_events (Read) lists upcoming events. taskfamily_add_event (Sensitive write) adds a family event.
Use the read tools when you want a quick view of the family's chores, approvals or schedule without opening the app. The write tool changes the calendar, so treat it as sensitive and check the details before you confirm. The TaskFamily calendar must be turned on for its event tools. If the event tools return nothing, confirm the calendar is on in TaskFamily.
There are no TaskFamily tools that work without an account. If a tool is unavailable, sign in to OneLifeVibe and try again. The tools listed here cover tasks, approvals and events.
